Renting a Storage Unit

When can I move into my storage unit?

If a storage unit is available that meets your storage needs, you can move in as soon as your rental agreement is completed and payment has been received.

If the size you need is not currently available, you may join our waitlist. We will contact you when a unit becomes available.

How do I rent a storage unit?

You can contact us directly by phone or email, or use our convenient online rental options. Once your rental agreement is completed and payment is received, you can begin using your storage unit according to your rental terms.

What documentation is required to rent a storage unit?

We require a valid government-issued photo ID, such as:

• Driver's license

• State-issued identification card

• Passport

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No. We offer month-to-month rentals unless a customer requests another arrangement.

How much notice do I need to give before moving out?

We require 30 days' notice prior to the end of your lease month. If proper notice is not provided, your lease will renew according to the terms of your rental agreement.

Payments & Online Account Management

How do I make a payment?

Payments can be made over the phone using a debit or credit card.

For your convenience, you may also manage your account and make payments through our secure online tenant portal.

Once you are moved in, you may also mail a check or money order to:

Yes. You can manage your account and update your payment information through our secure online tenant portal.

Access & Storage Information

What are your access hours?

Access Self Storage offers 24-hour access, 365 days a year for our tenants.

We understand that storage needs do not always happen during traditional business hours, so we provide convenient access when it works best for you.

Please note: During significant winter weather events, vehicle access may occasionally be delayed until snow removal has been completed.

Do you offer drive-up access?

Absolutely! Many of our storage units offer convenient drive-up access, allowing you to park directly in front of your unit for easier loading and unloading.

Drive-up access makes moving furniture, boxes, equipment, and larger items quicker and more convenient.

How do I know what size storage unit I need?

The right storage size depends on what you plan to store. You can review our Storage Size Guide on our website or contact us and we will help you determine the best option for your needs.

Can I store a vehicle, boat, or recreational equipment?

Yes. Many of our larger units are suitable for storing vehicles, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, trailers, and other recreational equipment.

Packing & Storage Tips

What is the best way to pack my storage unit?

A well-organized storage unit makes accessing your belongings much easier. Visit our Storage Guide on our website. We recommend:

• Place larger and less frequently used items toward the back of the unit

• Keep a walkway through the center of your unit for easier access

• Label all boxes clearly

• Keep an inventory list of stored items

• Take photos of boxes or place photos on containers to easily identify contents

• Store items on pallets, shelving, or skids rather than directly on concrete floors

Are there items I cannot store?

Yes. For safety reasons, certain items are not allowed, including:

• Liquids

• Explosives

• Flammable liquids

• Toxic materials

• Perishable items
